About this game

Step into the shoes of a Necromancer in this dark fantasy incremental clicker. Reap souls, manage undead portfolios, and optimize your

In Idle Necronomics, you take on the mantle of a Necromancer tasked with constructing an around-the-clock undead operation. Your primary objective involves harvesting souls from the living and converting that essence into supernatural capital. It is a dark-fantasy experience focused on constant expansion, where you dominate floor after floor, ensuring your supply of soul capital remains consistently high as you build your necromantic empire.

Gameplay

The gameplay centers on an incremental clicker loop where you reap souls by clicking on the living. As you fill your Soul Vessel, you advance through different floors, each requiring you to manage your speed. Because the living inhabitants of these floors will fight back, you must balance your clicking pace to ensure you can successfully claim each new area.

You can reinvest your harvested souls into four specific upgrade portfolios: Click, Army, Tithe, and Forge. These upgrades are essential for shifting from manual clicking to automated attacks, allowing you to clear floors that previously took minutes in mere seconds. This system turns your early manual labor into a highly efficient, automated engine for growth.

Beyond basic upgrades, you can defeat boss Covenants and bind eight different relics to alter your build. The game includes mechanics to put your idle capital to work, ensuring your progress continues even when you are away. With a 200-floor campaign and an ascension system that grants permanent Black Sigils, you can retrace your steps with significantly enhanced power.

What stands out

The game distinguishes itself by applying a dark-fantasy aesthetic to the incremental genre. Instead of managing abstract resources, you are actively commanding undead companions and binding relics to your cause. The design focuses on providing representative units rather than burying you in duplicates, keeping the interface clean while you build your necromantic power.

Momentum is a key design priority, with the game offering bounded offline progress so you can return to an active campaign rather than staring at a reset screen. It balances the immediate gratification of clicking with the long-term challenge of a 200-floor campaign, which spans an initial run and a more demanding second cycle.

Who might enjoy it

This title is tailored for players who find satisfaction in watching numbers climb through incremental growth and strategic resource allocation. If you appreciate the transition from manual interaction to automated systems, you will likely enjoy the way your initial efforts evolve into a self-sustaining operation. It is designed for those who want to see their progress manifest as increased efficiency across a multi-floor campaign.
