Game details
A poker roguelike with cheating bosses, custom decks, and arcana multipliers. Beat relentless targets and set trapped souls free.
If you are looking for a fresh spin on deckbuilding puzzle loops, you should take a look at Arcana. It drops you straight into a poker-inspired roguelike where standard hands transform into cascades of chips and multipliers, all designed to help you survive escalating target scores that refuse to show mercy.
Every single round acts as a distinct puzzle to crack, while each run presents you with a completely different deck to manage and adapt.
Your runs are shaped by 21 unique arcana that grant chips, mult attributes, and passive powers simply for holding them, with some items occasionally dropping in foil, holo, or polychrome variants. You can open packs to discover arcana alongside constellations that level up specific poker hands while lighting up the night sky.
To push your scores even higher, you have access to eight distinct card upgrades—including golden, glass, steel, ruby, and sapphire—plus single-use potions, interest on your banked savings, and risky deals offered by a wanderer who never hands out gifts for free.
The game introduces ten distinct bosses that actively break standard rules to disrupt your strategy, such as silencing face cards, blanking out entire suits, or restricting your plays to only three cards at a time. Standing at the end of the line is the Jailer, keeping souls trapped inside his cards until you manage to beat him and set them free.
Card game enthusiasts and puzzle fans who enjoy bending traditional rules, experimenting with deck upgrades, and overcoming rule-breaking boss encounters will find plenty to dig into here.
