About this game

Thrown out of the hero party? Build a better one in this casual incremental game. Clear dungeons, collect gold, and grow your power over

Getting kicked out of your hero party is a rough start, but it turns out to be the perfect excuse to build something even better. My Own Hero Party is a casual incremental experience that puts you in charge of your own destiny. Instead of wallowing, you are tasked with leading expeditions into dangerous dungeons, gathering gold, and ensuring that every single run contributes to your long-term progress. It is all about turning those initial setbacks into a stronger, more capable team that can eventually handle anything the game throws at you.

Gameplay

Your primary goal is to push through a chain of dungeon rooms, each filled with enemies and loot. You have to manage your stamina timer carefully, as it creates a constant sense of pressure during every expedition. You need to clear rooms quickly to grab as much gold as possible before your time runs out, forcing you to constantly evaluate how far your current party build can realistically push before you have to retreat.

You start your journey with a single Warrior, but you will soon recruit allies like the Archer and the Healer to create a more effective formation. Each character has unique upgrade paths that define their role in combat. You can specialize your team with abilities ranging from taunts and cleaving attacks to piercing arrows, explosive shots, and protective barriers, along with various party-wide bonuses that help you survive deeper into the dungeons.

Between your expeditions, you will spend the gold you have collected on a persistent upgrade tree. This allows you to boost essential stats like damage, health, armor, and lifesteal, while also improving your economy and stamina. As you defeat specific dungeon difficulties, you unlock new contracts and tougher challenges, such as the Minotaur's Sanctuary or the Werewolf's Den, ensuring that your party is constantly evolving to meet higher levels of enemy density and danger.

What stands out

The game leans into a classic pixel-art aesthetic, which complements the focus on growing party power. It is a straightforward, room-based system where the escalating pressure of the stamina timer keeps the pacing brisk. By focusing on long-term progression and first-clear rewards, the design ensures that even failed runs feel like a step forward in your quest to build the ultimate hero party.

Who might enjoy it

If you enjoy games that reward persistence and careful planning, this is worth a look. It is designed for players who like watching their numbers and capabilities grow steadily through incremental upgrades. If you appreciate the satisfaction of turning a weak starting party into a powerhouse through repeated dungeon runs and strategic character building, you will find plenty to keep you engaged here.
