About this game

Infi-Knight is a dark fantasy incremental idle game designed to live in a resizable window, letting you fight the undead while you

If you want a game that respects your screen space while delivering a dark fantasy narrative, Infi-Knight is worth a look. It functions as a desktop-companion incremental idle title that sits in a window beside your other work. You manage a knight cursed with immortality, trapped in a cycle of fighting undead hordes. While the knight has forgotten their original purpose and the order they served, you are tasked with rekindling their memories to uncover the truth behind their curse and potentially break the cycle forever.

Gameplay

The core loop involves the knight battling endless waves of undead. Because the knight is cursed with immortality, they possess only one hit point and will inevitably fall, but death is merely a temporary setback. Every coin and XP orb you collect remains with you, fueling your progression even after the knight is defeated. You can manage the action by tithing gold, swapping weapons, or triggering surges of zeal directly from the compact, resizable window that stays beside your other desktop tasks.

Combat depth comes from a robust arsenal of ten distinct weapons, including halberds, holy maces, and arbalests. As you stick with a specific weapon, you increase its mastery, eventually unlocking upgrades that fundamentally change how that weapon functions. You can further customize your knight's performance by swearing one of six oaths—each presenting a unique trade-off—and equipping relics that synergize with your chosen weapon to create a specialized build for your current run.

Progression is tied to both the knight's individual levels and your permanent upgrades at the camp. By defeating bosses, you gather embers, which are spent at the camp to unlock new gameplay elements and boost your baseline power. As you reach specific milestones, you will reawaken the knight's memories, which are presented in a four-act story structure. These memories do more than just provide narrative context; they also unlock new weapons, relics, and lore, ensuring that your long-term goals are always tied to the mystery of the knight's past.

What stands out

What sets this game apart is its design as a true desktop companion. It is not meant to be played in full-screen isolation; instead, it is built to be resizable and borderless, with an always-on-top option that allows it to live naturally beside your other applications. This makes it an ideal choice for a long-term idle experience that integrates into your daily digital workflow without demanding constant, undivided attention.

The narrative approach is also quite unique for the genre. Rather than just clicking for numbers, you are actively piecing together a tattered, dark fantasy history. The story is fragmented across dozens of memories that you must unlock through your accomplishments, turning the act of grinding into a process of discovery. It creates a compelling reason to push through the endless waves, as every milestone brings you closer to understanding why the dead will not remain buried.

Who might enjoy it

This game is designed for players who enjoy incremental titles that run quietly in the background during daily tasks. If you appreciate dark fantasy settings, build-crafting through relics and oaths, and the satisfaction of watching a character grow through persistent meta-progression, you will find plenty to keep you occupied. It is built for those who want a long-term project with a clear story-driven conclusion and an unlockable endless mode to test their ultimate power.
