About this game

Team up as goofy raccoons to loot procedural ruins in this co-op extraction game. Grab treasure, manage your greed, and escape before it's

Ever wondered how much treasure you can carry before your luck runs out? In Greedy, you and your friends step into the paws of goofy raccoons tasked with infiltrating ancient, shifting ruins. You are working for a group of moles who want a magic relic, but the job is far from simple. As you delve deeper, the ruins become increasingly unstable, threatening to collapse around your team. It is a high-stakes balancing act where you must decide exactly how far you are willing to push your luck for the sake of more loot before the entire structure—and your crew—falls apart.

Gameplay

The core of the experience revolves around a constant tug-of-war between team success and personal greed. While the magic relic you are sent to retrieve is a shared reward for the group, every piece of extra loot you pick up along the way increases your own progress. The catch is that carrying more treasure makes your raccoon slower and noisier, which can quickly turn you into a liability for the team. You have to constantly weigh the benefit of personal wealth against the risk of slowing down your escape or alerting the dangers lurking within the ruins.

Once you have gathered loot, you can shred it into coins to purchase various items and upgrades. You might find yourself testing your luck at the moles' roulette or, if the situation calls for it, agreeing with your teammates to take on one of Mammon’s roguelike deals. These choices are vital for survival, but they are never guaranteed to go your way. Managing your resources effectively is key to surviving the deeper floors and preparing for the challenges that lie ahead as you push further into the excavation site.

Knowing when to cut your losses is just as important as the looting itself. The relic is only the halfway point of your mission; once you have it, you still need to navigate the escape under immense pressure. At this point, the team must make a critical decision: cash out your current winnings or risk everything by heading into the next floor for even greater rewards. This cycle of risk and reward defines the flow of the game, keeping you on your toes as you decide if your team can handle just one more level.

What stands out

What makes the ruins particularly dangerous is that they are never the same twice. Every floor reshuffles its layout, traps, monsters, and puzzles, ensuring that no two runs feel identical. Because the environment changes so drastically, you cannot rely on a single strategy. You have to use a mix of stealth, exploration, and quick thinking to survive. If your team fails to coordinate, your plans will fall apart almost instantly under the pressure of the shifting architecture and the watchful eyes of Mammon and his servants.

The game also features a persistent element where your actions have lasting consequences. If you push deep enough, you will encounter challenging bosses and rescue lost NPCs. These rescued characters settle in the forest, helping the story unfold as you continue your runs. Additionally, the constant threat of Mammon’s curse looms over the crew if you get too greedy. Stealing too much treasure attracts the attention of the Greed Demon, adding another layer of difficulty that forces you to constantly evaluate how much risk your team can actually afford to take.

Who might enjoy it

If you enjoy games that test your ability to cooperate while simultaneously tempting you with personal gain, this is one to watch. It is perfect for groups who love high-pressure extraction scenarios where every decision feels like a gamble. If you appreciate procedural environments that force you to adapt your plans on the fly and enjoy the tension of balancing team objectives against individual progress, you will find plenty to sink your teeth into here.
