Game details
AMMO DUMP is a short, dense first-person incremental shooter where you shoot cubes until they grow to the size of a building. Break them
At its core, AMMO DUMP is a straightforward premise: there is one cube, and your job is to shoot it. Once you manage to break that initial target, a larger one immediately slams down from the sky to take its place. This cycle repeats, scaling up in intensity as you progress through thirty distinct cubes, eventually reaching sizes as massive as forty meters tall. It is a focused, dense experience designed to be completed in a short timeframe.
The gameplay loop revolves around managing your resources and firepower. You start with a simple pistol, but as you break cubes, you can expand your arsenal to include turrets, lightning storms, meteors, and even the sun. You will need to actively grab rounds from ammo piles and chase after specific targets like bullseyes and gold cubes to keep your momentum going. Every fifth cube introduces a boss encounter, featuring unique mechanics like hearts that shift position when damaged or smaller cubes that attempt to repair the boss.
Customization is handled through a skill tree containing 77 different upgrades, allowing you to tailor your damage output and utility. Beyond your primary weapon, you have access to four different guns and a knife, ranging from basic tap-fire pistols to high-capacity belt-fed weapons. Every fifth cube also grants you a perk, where you select one card from a pool of 24 to further modify your capabilities. You will also manage ammo machines and deployable turrets that require constant feeding to remain effective.
What sets this apart is the sheer scale of the escalation. You begin by shooting a single, fridge-sized object, but the game pushes you to keep going until the target is the size of a building. The environment itself reacts to your progress with events like cube rain and thunderstorms, ensuring the visual experience evolves alongside your growing arsenal.
If you enjoy incremental games that offer a clear sense of progression and escalating power, this title is worth a look. It is built for players who appreciate a short, dense experience where the focus remains on constant growth and mechanical expansion rather than long-term commitment.
